While surfing the internet I came across a video about trading in running, I decided to give it a go as it looked pretty simple to do.

The only problem I had was the API I am using is not the same as the video, this meant I could not use the same settings.

This is something new to me and I knew I was not going to get the kind of results I wanted straight away, in other words I knew I was going to lose some money.

I did a couple of races in training mode, this is OK but you know you are not risking anything so you do things you would not do if it was live.

So I changed back to live mode, I set my liability to £10 and off I went the it wasn’t till the 5th race that I started to get to grips with it.

I made a few silly mistakes like not setting the 1 tick offset, and it took me a little while to realise that I could not do this in grid view, I had to change to the ladder.

The only problem with this is I can only see 4 horses at a time, where as in grid view you can see all the runners.

The thing is do I spend more money on another API or just select 4 horses to trade using this technique.

I like this system and will be adding it to my daily routine.
