Life After 60

Anyone who has read any of my posts knows that I have taken part in a few races, since starting running in February, the most recent was a half marathon.

I am waiting to see if I have got a place in the London marathon, so I will just be going on club runs during the week and the Parkrun on a Saturday.

Since February 2015 I have been learning to play guitar and recently I was so fed up because I don’t seem to have made any progress.

Don’t get me wrong I have learned a lot in that time, I can read music and I know around 30 chords, I am not too bad at finding the notes on the fret board.

Because I did not feel happy with my progress I have not been practising, but after running the half marathon I got to thinking if I can do this, I should be able to play the guitar.

This week I signed up for a new training programme, it was created by Tony Polecastro I have seen a lot his videos on YouTube and liked how he taught you in these, so it seemed the right thing to signup for.

Anyway I am going to be blogging about my progress.

Back in March I was looking for a way to bring in some extra cash and I saw an advert saying earn money from horse racing before the race starts.

Well not being a gambler I had a look and it, I found the training material to be of poor quality.

So I decided to do some more research and I signed up for another 2 programmes, I have found that the 3rd program has given me a good foundation.

The system is very easy to follow and I am getting better at this every day.

Don’t get me wrong I am not earning the kind of money I want to, but like I said I am not a gambler so I am only using a very small bank.

The staking system I am using what could be called compounding, the more money I get in my bank the higher the bids I use when trading.

This way I am building my bank and will carry on till I can start taking money out.

If this sounds like something you might be interested in watch this video, it’s the one that lead my to my now mentor Tony Hargraves.

I will also be posting my progress with this.
